Annual Floral Fling "Spread Your Wings"

This year's Floral Fling will be held at Marin Country Club on March 27. It will begin at 10:00 with Garden Path Shopping, 11:30- Luncheon, 12:00- Fashion Show (during entrée) by Alice Becker who has a shop on Grant Avenue in Novato, 12:45 -Raffle, 1:00- Floral Design Demonstration by Linda Smith (during dessert).
Alice Becker will present 3 categories, casual, daytime dressy and special occasion clothes. Linda Smith owned Primrose on Grant Avenue in Novato for 8 years and has worked as a floral designer for 20 years doing weddings, corporate and special events. She will demonstrate 6-8 arrangements.
The theme of the Floral Fling this year will be "Spread Your Wings", a theme of "transformation" chosen because, through its monetary support of its grant recipients, Marin Charitable helps to transform lives. The "Butterfly," being a traditional symbol of transformation, will be used for décor.
